Siren. Stretcher wheels hit the floor. You read the room in one glance. Airway. Breathing. Circulation. Two lines in. Monitor on. Oxygen up. You call out vitals, start BLS if needed, run an ECG, draw an ABG, check pupils, control bleeding, give fluids, prepare drugs. You speak clearly to the team, take a 10-second history from a relative, and keep the patient stable long enough for the next decision. Time is oxygen. Every move counts.
This is the work: fast triage, precise basics, calm under pressure, clean handovers. The motive is simple and absolute: keep the patient alive.
This course is about that, from ambulance to casualty procedures.
A Post Graduate Advanced Diploma in Emergency Medical Services for MBBS, BAMS, BHMS, BUMS doctors. It’s a 1-year academic program with 2 months of practical posting in Casualty.. You learn triage, ABC, BLS/ACLS, trauma basics, suturing, IV access, ABG/ECG basics, and documentation by working on real cases.
Final online MCQ + VIVA. On passing, you receive a accredited Diploma and a hospital training certificate.
EMS course is open for:
You receive two certificates:
About BSS:
Bharat Sevak Samaj (BSS) is a National Development Agency sponsored by the Planning Commission, Government of India. Established in 1952, its constitution and functioning were unanimously approved by the Indian Parliament. The award you receive is an accredited Skill Development Certificate issued by BSS.
Hospital Training Certificate (Casualty):
After completing the 2-month practical posting in Casualty, the partner hospital issues a training certificate. It records your department (Casualty), duty period, key responsibilities and procedures, and supervisor sign-off. Together with the BSS diploma, it proves both academic completion and real emergency care experience.
The PG Diploma in Emergency Medical Services is a 1-year academic program with a fixed 2-month practical posting in Casualty at partner hospitals in Pune. The syllabus is built around real emergency and critical care medicine. Learning is hands-on in the department with supervision and support. Our aim is simple: prepare you for the real world of acute care.
You observe first, then assist, then perform under supervision in Casualty. Keep a clear logbook of cases and procedures. Recorded lectures and focused workshops reinforce what you see on duty. Department teams are accessible for guidance while you work.
Final assessment includes an online MCQ and a VIVA, with logbook review if required. On passing, you receive the Advanced Diploma from BSS and a hospital training certificate documenting your Casualty posting.
Short answer: a diploma plus real Casualty duty improves hiring chances. You have something employers can verify and trust.
You graduate with two verifiable documents: a BSS Advanced Diploma and a Hospital Training Certificate (Casualty). Together with your logbook/case exposure, they act as proof of continued learning and something real to show in interviews and credentialing.
PGDEMS Course stands for Post Graduate Diploma in Emergency Medical Services. It is a one-year EMS course.
eMediSkill previously offered a PGDEMS course. Delivery was classroom heavy. Large batches of about 100 to 200 students met on Saturdays. Exams were held offline in Pune.
Short cons: overcrowded classrooms, fixed weekend schedule, interrupted learning, theory-heavy teaching, no continuous clinical immersion, offline exams with travel.
We discontinued the PGDEMS course and built a better path for doctors.
This new format removes crowding, removes rigid weekends, and makes learning continuous where it matters most, inside casualty.
The Post Graduate Diploma in Emergency Medical Services (EMS) is a 1 year academic program with a 2 month practical posting in Casualty.
PGDEMS stands for Post Graduate Diploma in Emergency Medical Services. It is a one year postgraduate EMS course for doctors that focuses on casualty based training, triage, resuscitation, and early critical care skills.
We keep it simple and real. You train where it matters, not in a crowded classroom.
Most “diplomas” teach in a hall of 200 and expect you to arrange practical training elsewhere. We place you in Casualty and document it. You leave with a diploma and a hospital training certificate that proves you actually worked cases.
Doing EMS here offline gives you a Casualty training certificate that can even be used to satisfy practical requirements for a PGDEMS application. You study with us, complete real duty, and have proof in hand.
EMS diplomas in India usually cost ₹28,000–₹50,000.
At eMediSkill: The fee is ₹28,500 with an all-year early enrollment discount if you enroll within the first 3 days.
