The diploma runs for 1 year. After enrollment, you coordinate your schedule with the eMediSkill team and get department entry at Pune partner hospitals as planned. A recommended 6 months of practical duty is required, shorter or longer based on when you become job-ready; this duty does not affect your marksheet or degree. Training is department-based from day one with real patient exposure in ICU, CCU, Radiology, Casualty, OT, and OPDs, supported by recorded lectures and periodic hands-on workshops in suturing, central line basics, airway management and intubation, lumbar puncture, BLS, and ACLS. You are placed on proper hospital duty with real patients. You learn by doing. The goal is to get so skilled during the course that you start receiving offers; many are absorbed by the training hospital itself.
Final assessment is an online MCQ exam and a VIVA, after which you receive a recognized BSS Diploma Certificate plus your hospital training certificate. Contact us now to confirm admission.
You receive two certificates:
BSS is a National Development Agency sponsored by the Planning Commission, Government of India. It was established in 1952, with its constitution and functioning unanimously approved by the Indian Parliament. Your BSS diploma is an accredited Skill Development Certificate. The hospital training certificate records your department, duty period, key procedures, and supervisor sign-off. Together, they confirm both your academic award and your real clinical experience.
You actually learn. This is your chance to step into real departments and work. Daily duty in ICU, CCU, Casualty, OT and OPDs turns you from observer to doer. You build procedure skills, clinical judgment, and confidence on the floor. By the end, you are job ready. Many trainees are absorbed by their training hospitals. Others secure ICU and emergency roles elsewhere because they can already handle the work. Your BSS diploma plus the hospital training certificate make your skills clear and credible in interviews.
A postgraduate critical care medicine program for MBBS, BAMS, BHMS, BUMS doctors. This PG diploma level path aligns with searches like ICU course, ICU management course, CCM course, and post graduate diploma in critical care. Training runs in Pune with partner hospitals. You enter departments from day one, including ICU, CCU, Casualty, OT, and OPDs. The official duration is 1 year with a recommended 6 months of practical duty until you are job ready. Duty does not affect your marksheet or award.
If you are comparing PG Diploma/PGD in Critical Care options, this program is a practical alternative: structured hospital postings, procedure-focused workshops, and steady case exposure that builds ICU competence.
The curriculum covers airway management and intubation, ventilator basics, hemodynamic monitoring, central venous access, ABG and ECG interpretation, sepsis and shock protocols, fluids and electrolytes, pain and sedation, infection control, BLS, and ACLS. Assessment uses an online MCQ exam and a VIVA. On completion you receive a BSS Diploma Certificate and a hospital training certificate documenting department and duty period.
Note: The certificate will say “Advanced Diploma in Critical Care”
ICU work is fast and procedural: airway and ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, vasopressors, sepsis and shock protocols, ABG and ECG interpretation, sedation and infection control, bedside ultrasound, and lines like central and arterial. This postgraduate critical care medicine course trains you for exactly that. For MBBS, BAMS, BHMS, BUMS doctors, it runs in Pune with partner hospitals, gives department entry from day one, and includes about six months of practical duty until job ready. Assessment is an online MCQ and a VIVA. On completion you receive a BSS diploma and a hospital training certificate.
This is a general critical care medicine syllabus. Learning happens inside hospital departments during your postings in ICU, CCU, Casualty, OT and OPDs. You are expected to learn these areas during the training period through real patient work with supervision. There is no classroom tutoring or spoonfeeding. We guarantee two things only: entry into departments and a diploma if you pass the exam.
Be on the front line. Ask for cases. Observe, assist, then perform under supervision. Keep a tight logbook of cases and procedures. Use recorded lectures and periodic workshops to support what you do in the wards, not to replace it.
Online MCQ exam and VIVA at the end of the course, with logbook review as required. Passing the exam leads to the Diploma award.
